Hi, my name is Maria and I am the owner and lead coordinator of Events by Maria. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed planning events for family and friends. After many years of planning everything from birthday parties to weddings, I officially started Events by Maria in 2010 and I love it!
While I manage and coordinate a variety of events, my favorite are weddings; I love celebrating Love and romance. I want to get to know you and your love story. I want to know how you met, when you knew they were the one, your favorite thing to do together and of course, I want to hear all about the proposal.
Planning a wedding is exciting and stressful all at the same time, so I work with you in making sure your wedding day goes as planned, your vision comes to life and most importantly, that you fully enjoy this very special day celebrating with family and friends. Your day is just as special to me as it is to you, so we work hard to make sure this day is perfect.
On a personal note, I married my high school sweetheart and we have been married for over 40 years. When I am not planning events, I enjoy spending time with my family and doing just about anything that involves being outdoors. While I love new adventures, I do not consider myself adventurous. I love anything related to photography and I take my camera everywhere I go. Travel is big on my bucket list and on the very top of that list is walking “The Camino de Santiago” in Spain. I enjoy so many different things, there is no way I can list them all. The best way to describe myself is fun, professional, caring, understanding and dedicated. My Family and my Faith are very important to me and of coarse…Love.
