Welcome to my new Blog Post
Hello and welcome to my first Blog! My name is Maria and I am the owner and lead planner at Events by Maria. I am a Temecula Wedding Planner and also serve the surrounding areas!
I love all things that celebrate love and romance so needless to say, weddings are my absolute favorite event to be a part of.
I have always been a bit of a romantic; movies, books, love stories, music, etc. I think you get the picture. So, it is only natural that I gravitated to planning weddings.
I like to plan and make sure things run smoothly so it is a natural fit for me. I especially LOVE working with engaged couples, hearing their stories, and getting to know them.
I know the wedding planning process can be stressful and can sometimes deter a couple from the real focus of starting your new journey together as Husband and Wife.

A Little Bit About My Own Love Story
As I mentioned before, I am a romantic at heart. I married my high school sweetheart and we have been married for 37 years! We are still very much in love!
I am the romantic in the relationship for sure! Don’t get me wrong, he can be too, but I am definitely the one who is always trying to surprise him with planning fun things for us to do together.
He is a good sport about it too! He goes along with most of my crazy ideas and will even sit through one of my “girly” movies, as he likes to call them.
Some Fun Facts about Me!
- I love traveling and being outdoors!
- We really enjoy spending time with our family and friends as often as we can!
- I’m a huge photography hobbyist and carry my little camera around with me everywhere! Which often drives my family nuts!
- In the summer, we love to go camping and BBQing!
- We both love taking long rides along the coast of California on my husbands Harley Davidson motorcycle!
- I’m also a pretty big baseball and football fan! We attend games whenever we get the chance! Go Dodgers and Raiders!

My first Temecula Wedding Planner tip to you!
It is so exciting when you get engaged! I’m sure you’re so excited that you’ve already started to list all of the things you need to do! You also probably feel like you need to get them done NOW!
My first piece of advice to you as a Temecula wedding planner would be to slow down! It’s okay! You do not have to book everything today. Take some time to enjoy this next step in your relationship and let it sink in.
Of course, you will eventually have to start the planning process, but depending on how soon you want to get married, you have a few weeks to just enjoy being engaged.
In future blog posts I will be sharing some tips to help you in the wedding planning process and hopefully make it a little less stressful for you! So be on the lookout for future blog posts! I’m here to help you however I can!
